Connect AI, then test its tools#
An AI reply and access to your system are different checks. The model can respond while a module still lacks its connection or permission.
Choose an available path
In YAADMIN settings, choose a supported provider and model. The optional Codex module has separate connection setup and per-user opt-in. Its catalog presence does not mean it is configured.
Connect your account
Use the available settings form or supported sign-in. Enter API keys only in protected fields. A yaadmin.io account does not replace AI-provider access; provider charges are separate from your YAADMIN licence.
Test a reply and an action
Ask a simple question, then request a read of one owned file or a few records from a connected service. Check the result. If a module action fails, inspect connection and access before changing AI credentials blindly.
Images and other attachments#
Agent screens or image inspection require a compatible model and delivery path. Current Native and Codex maintain visual context differently. Vision details.
Uploading audio or video does not establish that the adapter can analyse it. Do not infer unknown capabilities from a model name. Files and limits.
Permissions and modes#
Codex's local execution mode does not replace YAADMIN tool or Agent permissions. Rights, confirmations and service settings are separate. The Codex console displays output; it is not an interactive terminal for typing commands.
Voice input#
Speech-input language follows the interface language. Your browser must also permit the microphone. This differs from uploading an audio file for analysis.
